Christina Reid Strachoff is a Massachusetts-based artist. Through painting and drawing, she explores the human experience—its wonder, pain, and mundanity—as well as the nature of reality. Her work often deals with grief, death, and hope. Christina is interested in the nature of visual communication and incorporates representation, symbolism, and abstraction into her work. Depicting scenes and spaces, she draws from surrealism and the literary concept of a vignette. Her work incorporates imagery from her personal experiences, family histories, and the places in New England she has called home.
